Rav Yoga For Your Community For You & Your Family

  • Intro to Rav Yoga – This class or series introduces the deep physical practice of Rav Yoga, which fuses Jewish learning and eastern meditative movement to empower and connect the breath and body, mind and soul.
  • Refu’ah Yoga – Combining the Hebrew expression for complete healing of spirit and body (refu'ah sheleima) with the yoga philosophy of rest and renewal, this class devotes an entire session to restorative yoga.  The supportive, passive practice of restorative yoga is deeply restful and perfect for anyone –both for people who are extremely active and need help being still, AND for those in need of healing and with limited movement.
  • Tefilla Yoga – is an exquisite inner prayer service. Rabbi Heather guides you through yoga postures that match the theme and key words of traditional Jewish prayers. Through the language of movement, participants feel the essence of prayers in their breath and body. Enhancing the traditional prayer experience and strengthening the body, Tefilla Yoga Services require no prior yoga experience or Tefilla pre-requisite.
  • Shabbatsana: Restoring Shabbat – Relax and renew your energy for a peaceful Shabbat.  This restorative yoga workshop emphasizes the sacred rest of Shabbat takes you into bliss & peace.
  • Postures of Prayer – Comprised of concise teachings and simple physical postures that can enhance a Kabbalat Shabbat service, Postures of Prayer provides the breath and basics of Rav Yoga, and deepens your experience of the movements and postures within Jewish prayer.
  • Rosh Hodesh Rav Yoga – Held on or near the New Moon, for women only, these classes celebrate and honor the Jewish woman’s body and experience.
