The tremendous task of planning your wedding should be inspired by the joyful experience of preparing for the marriage that follows the chuppah. With each other, and with Rabbi Altman, you will share your vision of life together. You will set intentions for your Jewish home and inner lives and establish a relationship with your personal rabbinical resource.  You will have the opportunity to discuss relationship challenges, and to problem-solve unique family dynamics.

After 3-4 hours of meetings with Rabbi Altman, your ceremony will reflect the essence of your relationship and you will feel like it was created especially for you. You will learn about traditional and innovative wedding rituals, and we will customize the ceremony based upon your educated decisions.

Beyond guidance leading up to your wedding day, and a personally meaningful, wonderful, worry-free ceremony, Rabbi Altman can help you prepare body, mind and soul. Consider the supplementary soul services that can keep you centered during this exciting and busy time:

  • Relationship Rav Yoga — Spend physically active time building your relationship and explore Jewish concepts of sacred relationship through private couple’s yoga sessions. In preparation for creating a sacred sanctuary in your home, share fun, breath, and soul space on your mat.
  • Spiritual Companionship — Desperately seeking spirituality. The search for your beloved is over, but seeking God’s presence is an eternal longing. Learn how to support each other on your spiritual journeys. Deepen your spiritual intimacy as you learn how to listen for God in the presence of each other and of the Divine.
  • Rav Yoga Shower/Bachlorette/Bachelor party — A healthy and fun way to party! Drink in the luxury of Rav Yoga and let yourselves dance to the music within. A Wedding themed Rav Yoga specialty workshop designed for you.
  • Wedding Day Yoga — Feel fantastic on your wedding day! Begin by devoting attention to your innermost desires and feeling them embodied deeply. Find your strength, beauty, balance and serenity and then move onto love and joy. Just for you.

Choosing a rabbi to officiate at your wedding is an important early step in your wedding planning. Arrange a consultation with a Rabbi Altman by phone or in person to determine if she’s a good match for you and to give yourself the most opportunity for your preferred officiant and wedding date. See you under the chuppah!
